You will stay in the world famous Pemba Channel Fishing Lodge where up to 24 guests can stay in 6 separate cabins. All cabins are suitable for a maximum of 4 persons and from your cabin you have a direct view over the sea or the swimming pool. The complex is known as a true fishing paradise and is located 80 kilometres south of Mombasa on the Indian Ocean. This location has guaranteed good fishing and perfect service for years. Nothing is left to chance here.

It is a good place to stay in this Hemingway-like atmosphere with a bar with beautiful pictures of large and special fish. The quality of the food is very nice and the location guarantees a soothing atmosphere where you will surely enjoy your holiday.

There a three fully equipped boats available at this location. The Jasiri and Shuwari are both 33 feet and the White otter is 44 feet. They are all equipped with twin diesel turbo engines of 270 hp each. The boats are equipped with all imaginable necessities of navigation, GPS, fish finder, outriggers, fighting chairs and rods from Shimano, Fenwick, Harnell and KC with Shimano and Penn reels with 80, 50 and 30 lbs mono lines. These are the best materials to tackle the big boys.

Guests who would like to bring their own material to improve any IGFA records in line classes are encouraged to do so. The captain and crew will be happy to assist you.

Besides the equipment itself, the crew also plays an important role. The number of years of experience of the crews is more than 150 if you add it all up. They know the hotspots and they do everything they can to give their guests a successful fishing holiday.

The season for fishing here is almost endless. Good fish are caught all year round. However, there are two specific periods. From August till the end of October the tuna is very active and from December till the end of March the marlins are present. Since this season is summer in this part of the world you can expect nice weather and temperatures of 25 tm 35 C. Shorts, t-shirt, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen are part of the standard equipment.
