This location is located north of Bergen at approximately 2.5 hours by car. This is where everything comes together. Good boats, good accommodation, supermarket and cafe all in one place and across the door! How close do you want it? FjordKick is a traditional Norwegian location where the owner owns a supermarket, cafe, holiday homes and fishing boats. It is located directly on the Afjorden with a direct passage to Norway's largest fjord, the Sognefjord. It is very well sheltered and offers a large amount of good fishing spots within a radius of 25 kilometers. Because of the enormous differences in underwater structure, there are a lot of currents during the tidal changes and therefore also of baitfish and large fish.

This location is not too big so you will be staying in a quiet and traditional Norwegian environment. There are also perfect facilities in terms of accommodation and fishing boats. The location is beautiful with a view over the fjord and the opposite mountain range. Because there are few other fishing campsites in the area, the fishing is remarkably good in this area and offers good opportunities to catch serious fish.

The depths of the Sognefjord and the islands in front of the coast create good currents which attract small and there for also big fish. The owner Roar is a friendly and hospitable Norwegian and will assist you on the spot with advice and assistance. The entire accommodation is neat and tidy and there are not too many fishermen here making it a quiet place. Each house has its own freezer and shad for rods and fishing suits. In short, this is the perfect location for a wonderful week of fishing.

At this location there are 6 apartments available. Three of them are identical and are called Lyren, Seien and Torsken. The apartments are 90 m2 and have a living room with TV, sofa with terrace, garden furniture and view over the fjord. Furthermore, there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, kettle and stove. There are 4 bedrooms of which 2 with two single beds and 2 with 1 single bed each. This makes it suitable for up to 6 people. In addition, the houses have 2 bathrooms with shower, toilet and they all have their own sauna. In other words: in terms of comfort you will not be short of anything here.

Kveita is 130 m2 and has a living room with TV, sofa with terrace, garden furniture and view over the fjord. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, kettle and stove. There are 5 bedrooms with two single beds. This makes it suitable for up to 10 people. It also has 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet.

Laksen and Auren are approx 50 m2 and have a living room with TV, sofa with terrace and garden furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, kettle, fridge / freezer and stove. There are 2 bedrooms with two single beds. This makes it suitable for up to 6 people. It has 1 bathroom with shower and toilet.

At this location there are several boats to rent:

Oien 530: with 25 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder
Oien 620: with 70 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder (2 x)
Gemi 625: with 150 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder
Kvaerno 660: with 150 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder (2 x)
Kvaerno 680 HT: with 300 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder
Kvaerno 720: with 150 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder
Kvaerno 720: with 200 HP engine and GPS/fishfinder

The boats are suitable for up to 4 people (the kvaerno 720 for max 6) and have a fish tank, gaff, anchor, petrol jerrycan, first aid kit, paddle, bucket and GPS/fishfinder. The boats are located directly at the jetty and there is a place specially for the boats where you can easily refill the boat 24 hours a day with your ATM card.

To use the boats, it is necessary to pay a deposit on site. This must be done in cash and can be in euro or NOK. The amount ranges from NOK 3000 (€ 300) to NOK 10000 (€ 1000) for the largest boat.

Laksen 975 euro (for 3 pers.)
Kveita 1445 euro HS and 1295 euro LS (for 4 pers.)
Torsken, Lyren and Seien 1445 euro HS and 1295 euro LS (for 4 pers)

Additional person 175 euro / week

HS = April till September LS = rest

The prices are per week and for the boats excluding fuel. The standard changeover day is Saturday from April till September. Otherwise it is optional. There is also the possibility of hiring a guide to show you the best spots in the region. The price for this is around 85 euros per hour. In case you want that you have to request that before hand.

As from 2023 it is also possible to book 10 days. Please ask for the possibilities.

For the fishingboats an obligatory insurrance has to be taken.

Also a deposit per boat is due upon arrival between 500 and 100 Euro per boat.
