Farsund Resort is an absolute highlight in the south of Norway. This fishing camp offers an exceptionally high standard with perfect spacious fishing boats that come with diesel included. So there are no additional costs for fuel. At only a 1.5 hours drive from Kristiansand this high quality location is hidden and very sheltered in a beautiful bay. The open sea is half an hour's drive away and in the meantime there are many spots where you can fish perfectly and undisturbed. So even in lesser weather conditions you can always come here.

This location offers a large amount of species of fish. A total of 56 species have been caught here so far. In the fjord right in front of your door is mackerel, pollack and sea trout. Further on, several sandbanks where plaice, dab and turbot are caught. Between the different islands are many opportunities for fishing, but also consider the deeper parts towards the open sea with cod, ling, hake and sea wolf. There are also several smaller shark species, wrasse etc. Because of the protected location it is also possible to fish in the early and late season.

Casting towards the many islands you will catch beautiful pollack and coalfish with a medium spinning rod. On the way to and from the location out of the fjord it is definitely worth trolling on sea trout with a small spoon or crankbait. In the deeper regions cod are caught with pilks, shads and gummi maks and the ling and tusk can be caught with a mackerel flapper at depths around 100 meters. A very varied fishery that makes it possible to fish in a different way every day.

The location has a playground for the little ones, a restaurant, a bar, a spacious lobby with large screen TV. For shared use there is a sheltered filleting area with running water and a public freezer. There is a drying room for fishing materials and a washing machine and dryer for public use. All facilities here are of a very high standard.

At about 15 minutes drive from Farsund you will find this gem on the south coast of Norway. In Farsund you will find several supermarkets and also an angling shop. In the summer it is a lively and cozy town with terraces and definitely worth a visit.

All accommodations are of the same high standard and are for 4, 6 and 8 persons. The accommodations are similar to hotel standards. Modern luxury decor, neatly finished, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV's, all bedrooms have their own shower and bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Type Fjord

This type of house is suitable for up to 8 people and is 110 m2. There are 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower / toilet. The living room is modern and comfortably furnished with radio and TV. The kitchen is equipped with oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and refrigerator. There is also a terrace with garden furniture.

Type Hav

Is similar to type Fjord all for up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms of 88 m2.

Type Dal 2

Is similar to type Fjord all for up to 4 people with 2 bedrooms at 65 m2.

In terms of price, a distinction is made between sea front and resort front. Houses with sea view are slightly higher in price.

In all houses internet is available free of charge.

The Skager 660 boats are large, spacious, seaworthy and very reliable. The 22 HP inboard diesel engines are powerful and bring you quickly to the desired fishing spots. The boats are equipped with pick-hook, gaff, bucket, life jackets, marine radio and a clear GPS / fishfinder. In addition, all boats are equipped with an AIS system that can find all boats directly via GPS in case of an emergency situation. For support there is also a Ribb Zodiac of 7 meters 30 centimeters with a 225 HP engine.

The best thing about these perfect fishing boats is that all diesel for the boat during the stay is included in the rental price. So there are no extra costs for the fuel.
